From Staff ReportsJanuary 26, 2009

— A Raleigh man was arrested Saturday on a charge of failure to register as a sex offender after police said he had not notified authorities of his criminal record despite living in Wake County since May.

Francis J. Hall, 45, of 1202 East St., was being held at the Wake County jail in lieu of $25,000 secured bail. Court papers said Hall a year ago was convicted of criminal sexual contact in New Jersey.
