Pizza parking

March 26, 2009

Regarding your March 23 article "City's Wi-Fi plan has critics":

I find it interesting that Jon Garrison of Lilly's Pizza feels that they "get absolutely nothing in Five Points." What about the privilege of turning one of our main traffic arteries into a two-lane snarling disaster every weekday morning, afternoon and weekend, just so his customers can park in the middle of Glenwood Avenue to drink coffee and eat his pizza?

As one who has to navigate this quagmire twice daily, I for one vote to give all the businesses in Five Points free Wi-Fi and to make all of Glenwood Avenue a No Parking Zone in return!
