Conceits on display

April 16, 2009

In shouting down a speech at UNC-CH by former congressman Tom Tancredo, members of the campus left provided yet another example of what they actually mean by free speech, which is to say, free so long as it is in agreement with their own dogma. Speech in conflict with that dogma is defined as hate speech.

One is reminded of the early church's silencing of Galileo. We may all be grateful that the pampered little thugs don't have the power to put heretics to the stake. Such behavior is a mockery of their sham conceits regarding tolerance and diversity.
