Siler City company moving HQ to Cary

Carolina Advanced Digital, which has a dozen employees focused on information technology consulting and sales, announced today it is moving its headquarters to Cary from Siler City.

The expanding 25-year-old business is making the move to be closer to Raleigh-Durham International Airport and because the Triangle is a more fertile ground for recruiting new employees, among other reasons, said the company's president and chief engineer, John Jabbusch. He and his wife, Susan Jabbusch, own the business.

The company has added a half-dozen employees since October and anticipates hiring more workers later this year when it launches two new service divisions, said John Jabbusch. He declined to provide specifics.

One of Carolina Advanced's specialties is designing cost-efficient computer networks. "That puts us in demand when cash is short," Jabbusch said.

The company will maintain a satellite office at an undetermined site in Siler City. Its new headquarters, which it is moving into June 1, is on Triangle Trade Drive near the intersection of Northwest Maynard Road and James Jackson Avenue. Carolina Advanced is leasing more than 3,500 square feet of space.
