CARY -- Carolina Advanced Digital, which has a dozen employees focused on information technology consulting and sales, is moving its headquarters from Siler City to Cary.

The expanding 25-year-old business is making the move to be closer to Raleigh-Durham International Airport and because the Triangle is a more fertile ground for recruiting new employees, , said John Jabbusch, company president and chief engineer. He and his wife, Susan Jabbusch, own the business.

The company has added six employees since October and anticipates hiring more when it starts two new service divisions this year, John Jabbusch said.

One of Carolina Advanced's specialties is designing cost-efficient computer networks. The company will have a satellite office in Siler City. More than 3,500 square feet of space has been leased for its headquarters on Triangle Trade Drive.
