Stores too?

The Wake County Republican Party called for parents to keep their kids out of school on Memorial Day. If we're serious about remembrance they should have asked businesses to close as well, and for the public to boycott those that stay open.

As a 22-year veteran of three conflicts, it's my opinion that when kids are supposed to be in school their parents should show responsibility and make sure that they go.

There's more than enough hypocrisy in our politics; it's not necessary for the GOP to encourage stupidity as well.
