Sheepshead (Archosargus probatocephalus)

A mouthful of protruding teeth gives the sheepshead its name. The fish feed largely on crustaceans and hang around docks and bridge pilings. North Carolina's state record is a 19-pound, 4-ounce fish caught off Oregon Inlet in 1999. The world record weighed 21 pounds, 4 ounces and was caught in Louisiana.
