Denounce deficits

June 2, 2009

Where are the liberals who chastised President George W. Bush so for passing debt on to future generations, now that we have a president who is on track to double the national debt in 10 years? A president who is increasing the budget to a total of $4 trillion in federal spending, the highest ever. It will be four times higher than any deficit ever reached under President Ronald Reagan.

But let us not worry, because President Barack Obama ambitiously plans to halve the deficit, which will still leave us at a higher debt level than Bush ever had us at. This is all part of Obama's brilliant plan to balance the budget by increasing it to heights never seen before.

I never thought I would see the day that we would have a president who made Bush look fiscally responsible and intelligent. Out of control spending is out of control spending, no matter the party of the president.
