Police search for home invaders

— Garner police are looking for three men responsible for an early morning home invasion robbery and assault.

The burglary occurred just before 3 a.m. today at 1418 Old Buckhorne Road, said Garner Police Lt. Chris Hagwood in a press release.

Police said three men forced their way into the home of Christopher Henson, 21, and robbed him of an undetermined amount of cash.

Henson told police he was struck in the head with a shotgun during the robbery, according to the press release.

Henson was treated at a local hospital, police said.

Descriptions are scant of the three men who committed the burglary and robbery.

Currently, the only description of the suspects are three males wearing all black clothing and their faces covered. The victim told police that one suspect had black, dreadlocked hair.
