USA BASEBALL

Tournament of Stars

1 p.m., 4 p.m., 7 p.m. Tuesday, USA Baseball National Training Complex, Cary

Bryce Harper, the 16-year-old phenom from Las Vegas and recent Sports Illustrated cover boy, will play for the American Legion team in the 4 p.m. game. Harper has been called one of the best high school prospects ever. The tournament runs through Sunday.

INTERNATIONAL SOCCER

Honduras vs. Panama

5 p.m. Sunday, WakeMed Soccer Park, Cary

The Carolina RailHawks have just one home game during the next week, so hosting a tuneup for next month's CONCACAF Gold Cup, should help fill the void. Tickets run $23 to $40. Call 919-859-5425 or go to www.carolinarailhawks.com.

MINOR LEAGUE BASEBALL

Durham Bulls vs. Pawtucket Red Sox

7:05 p.m. today, Durham Bulls Athletic Park, Durham

The Bulls play their last home game of the month, and it's a good one. Scott Kazmir, usually of the Tampa Bay Rays, goes against Clay Buchholz, who has spent considerable time with the Boston Red Sox.

MINOR LEAGUE BASEBALL

Carolina Mudcats vs. Jacksonville Suns

7:15 p.m. Friday, Five County Stadium, Zebulon

It's fireworks night, so start the weekend with a bang as the Mudcats play the fifth game of a six-game set.
