Raleigh teen accused of firing into home

— A Raleigh teen has been arrested on charges of firing a handgun into an occupied home in Clayton this month, police said Wednesday.

Brian Lee Brewington, 19, of 419 Snelling Road in Raleigh, was being held in the Johnston County jail on a $40,000 secured bond after his arrest on charges of discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling, according to a news release from the Clayton Police Department.

Police said a handgun was fired into a house at 312 E. Hinton St. in Clayton at 1:30 p.m. July 12.
