60 and out

August 2, 2009

While exploring the universe Jean Luc Picard and the crew of the starship Enterprise encountered an advanced civilization that may predict our future after President Barack Obama's health care reform passes. This technically advanced society concluded that at the age of 60, on average, an individual takes more from the society than he contributes. This society's solution: Kill the individual on his 60th birthday.

Creative, isn't it? Perhaps, that is our future. Who knows what a health czar and his team might decide is the best treatment to provide the old. Let's hope "one size fits all" doesn't apply.
