2007 National League Cy Young Award winner Jake Peavy is scheduled to pitch for the Knights, the Chicago White Sox's Triple-A affiliate, as part of his recovery from a right ankle injury.

Tennessee Smokies at Carolina Mudcats

6:15 p.m. Saturday, Five County Stadium, Zebulon

Area Chicago Cubs fan likely will make another pilgrimage to catch a glimpse of Smokies manager Ryne Sandberg. Also, the first 1,200 children (14 and younger) will receive a Mudcats lunch box.

Vancouver Whitecaps FC at Carolina RailHawks

7 p.m. Tuesday, WakeMed Soccer Park, Cary

The clubs played to a 0-0 draw Saturday night in Vancouver, leaving the RailHawks (13-5-4) in third place in the USL-1 behind Portland and Charleston. For a scoreless game, the RailHawks faced a lot of pressure Saturday. The Whitecaps (7-9-5) peppered Carolina with 22 shots and 10 corner kicks.
