It's Retrofantasma time at the Carolina Theatre in Durham tonight, and the theater certainly has a couple of creepy ones this evening.

It starts with Philip Kaufman's 1978 even-freakier remake of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers," starring Donald Sutherland and Leonard Nimoy, followed by the 1986 theatrical cut of "From Beyond," based on H.P. Lovecraft's short story and directed by Stuart Gordon (who memorably adapted Lovecraft the year before with "Re-Animator"). The whole thing starts at 7 and tickets are $8. Details: 560-3030; festivals.carolinatheatre.org/retrofantasma.
