From wire reports

McLaren's Lewis Hamilton won the Singapore Grand Prix on Sunday, and Brawn GP driver Jenson Button extended his Formula One championship lead by one point.

Hamilton started from the pole and finished 9.6 seconds ahead of Timo Glock, who equaled Toyota's best Formula One result by finishing second. Fernando Alonso gave scandal-hit Renault a lift by finishing third.

More auto racing: Johnny Sauter raced to his first career series victory, taking the lead from Matt Crafton with 16 laps left and holding on to win the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series' Las Vegas 350 late Saturday. Crafton finished second in the 146-lap race on the 1.5-mile oval. Crafton is second in the points standings, 197 behind leader Ron Hornaday Jr., who finished fifth.
