D.J. Augustin scored 22 points to help the Charlotte Bobcats beat the New Orleans Hornets 108-101 in an exhibition game Thursday night in Greensboro.

Flip Murray scored 15 points, and Gerald Wallace added 14 points and was the only starter in double figures for the Bobcats.

The Hornets blew a 21-point lead in the second half, but used a late 10-3 run to win an exhibition game for the first time under coach Larry Brown. They entered 0-9 in preseason games under the second-year coach.

Chris Paul scored 15 of his 24 points in the third quarter for the Hornets.

The first matchup between the Bobcats and the first draft pick in their history wound up being derailed by injury, with new Hornets big man Emeka Okafor sitting out because if a sprained right big toe. Okafor, taken No. 2 overall by Charlotte in 2004, was dealt in July to New Orleans for Chandler.

Shaq takes shot at yoga: Shaquille O'Neal has made a career out of twisting around opposing centers.

Now he is doing it to himself.

After a summer of boxing, football, beach volleyball and swimming, Shaq has a new hobby -- yoga. He attended his first class at a suburban Cleveland studio on Wednesday night.

"I'm the worst yoga student in the history of yoga," O'Neal said Thursday.

His massive 7-foot-1, 325-pound frame needed two mats, according to Tami Schneider. She was O'Neal's instructor for the class and is special ordering a 100-inch mat for her new student.
