Former Duke basketball player Greg Paulus completed 5 of 9 passes for 30 yards and another costly interception before being benched for the second half of Syracuse's 34-13 loss to visiting West Virginia on Saturday. After throwing five interceptions last week in a loss to South Florida, Paulus was picked off on his second attempt against WVU when he rolled out and threw back across the field into the arms of 272-pound nose tackle Josh Taylor, who caught it and then fumbled. Linebacker Pat Lazear grabbed the ball and returned it to the Syracuse 11.
