The Phoenix Suns used a balanced attack with five players in doubled figures, edging the Philadelphia 76ers, 115-113, in preseason action from US Airways Center.

Channing Frye led the way with 17 points while Jason Richardson, Amare Stoudemire and Leandro Barbosa each tallied 16 points for the Suns, who improved to 3-2 in the preseason. Jared Dudley added 11 points and Steve Nash 10 assists in the win.

Marreese Speights was 12-of-18 from the field for a game-best 32 points in a losing effort for Philadelphia. Lou Williams scored 27 points and rookie Jrue Holiday posted 14 points, seven rebounds and six assists in defeat.

The loss was the Sixers' first of the preseason (4-1).
