Gigabit, a tiny Raleigh company that develops applications for the iPhone, today announced its first product under its own brand name.
HealthSync enables iPhone users to manage their personal medical records. It stores key data such as vital signs, medications, allergies, immunization records, lab results and appointments. It also provides access to detailed information about more than 3,000 prescription drugs, according to the company.
It's family-friendly as well because it stores information for multiple users. That makes it ideal for parents keeping track of their children's health, or families who are taking care of aging parents, said Brian Arthur, the company's president.
