APEX -- Lance Olive and incumbents Mike Jones and Gene Schulze won three open seats on the Apex Town Council.
In a tight race of seven candidates, Olive, a planning board member, came out on top with 23.3 percent of the votes. Jones was second with 15.7 percent and Schulze came in third with 15.6percent. Margo Bills was edged out with 15.1percent.
