Wake Forest team physicians have cleared senior quarterback Riley Skinner to play against Georgia Tech on Saturday, the school announced.
Skinner suffered a concussion last week against Miami, but is expected to start his 33rd consecutive game for the Demon Deacons as they visit Atlanta for a 3:30 p.m. game.
He did not practice Monday, saw minimal practice time Tuesday and gradually returned to the regular practice routine later in the week.

In a game decided by defense, Wake Forest proved tougher on Sunday afternoon, staggering N.C. State en route to a 70-57 victory at Reynolds Coliseum. The Demon Deacons smothered the Wolfpack and pulled ahead late in the second half, holding on for the win and sending the sold-out crowd home disappointed after they had filled the venue for the seventh annual Hoops 4 Hope event. 
If Wake Forest wants to extricate itself from the ACC's cellar, wins in its next two games would be a good place to start. 
Virginia coach Tony Bennett didn't need to call a single timeout.

N.C. State will always have Wake Forest. Since 2006, that has been a good thing for State. The Pack beat the Demon Deacons 87-76 on Saturday for the fifth straight time and the ninth time in the past 12 games.
