Jason Richardson scored 29 points, Steve Nash added 21 points and tied his season-high with 20 assists and the Phoenix Suns beat the host Philadelphia 76ers 119-115 on Monday night.

The Suns eclipsed the 100-points mark for the eighth straight game to open a season, which hadn't happened since the 1990-91 season.

Jared Dudley contributed 18, Amare Stoudemire added 17, Grant Hill had 11 and Channing Frye 10 for the high-flying Suns, who entered the game averaging a league-high 109.7 points per game.

Phoenix, which hit 15 of 30 3-point attempts, has won three straight and finished its five-game road trip at 4-1.

Andre Iguodala scored 24 points, Marreese Speights added 20, Thaddeus Young had 15 and Lou Williams 13 for the Sixers (3-4).

Also Monday

Jazz 95, Knicks 93: Carlos Boozer and Andrei Kirilenko each scored 23 points, and the Jazz won in New York for the first time in more than five years by beating the Knicks.

Mehmet Okur had the go-ahead basket with 1:16 to play and finished with 18 points and 12 rebounds for the Jazz, who opened a difficult four-game road trip by winning at Madison Square Garden for the first time since Feb. 20, 2004.

Deron Williams was limited to five points but had 16 assists. Utah, which earned its first road victory of the season, visits Boston next and wraps up the trip Saturday night at Cleveland.

Rookie Toney Douglas scored a season-high 21 points for the Knicks, who nearly dug their way out of another huge deficit with a big fourth-quarter rally. But he missed just before the buzzer, sending New York (1-7) to its fourth straight loss.

Late Sunday

Lakers 104, Hornets 88: Kobe Bryant scored 28 points, Shannon Brown added 15 and Los Angeles thrived again without its top two big men, beating visiting New Orleans.

Trail Blazers 116, Timberwolves 93: Andre Miller scored 21 points, and LaMarcus Aldridge and Travis Outlaw each had 19 as host Portland built a big first-half lead and beat Minnesota.

Kings 120, Warriors 107: Rookie Tyreke Evans scored 18 of his 23 points in the second quarter, and host Sacramento beat Golden State to win back-to-back games for the first time in nearly a year.

Notes

Grizzlies not sure of Iverson's plans: Memphis Grizzlies owner Michael Heisley says he is not sure what Allen Iverson's future plans are, though he hopes Iverson returns to the team soon.

Heisley granted the 10-time All-Star permission Saturday for an indefinite leave to deal with a personal matter. The (Memphis, Tenn.) Commercial Appeal newspaper reported Monday that Iverson is contemplating retirement.

Kings' Martin has wrist surgery: Sacramento Kings leading scorer Kevin Martin underwent surgery on his left wrist.

The team says Martin had the procedure to repair a hairline fracture on Monday at the UC Davis Medical Center. Martin was to be released from the hospital later in the day.

Warriors could still trade Jackson: Golden State coach Don Nelson said the Warriors are still open to trading Stephen Jackson a day after the disgruntled star's agent made disparaging comments about the coach.

"We're trying to accommodate him," Nelson said. "If we can get a good deal, we'll do it. I said that over a month, month and a half ago."
