Teams to watch
Athens Drive Coach Chris Danehower has four starters returning from a 22-7 club. The Jaguars have good size with 6-foot-4 Keisha Gatling (13 ppg., 8 rpg., 3.5 bpg.). Rachel Collins averaged 12 points and Lainey Childrey added 8. Childrey and Brittany Joyner each had more than 70 assists a year ago. The Jags have had three straight 20-win seasons.
Enloe Four starters return from a 16-11 club, including Elena Frac (10 rpg.) and Dana Brown (11 ppg.).
Northern Durham Veteran coach Pam Adams (272-81 in her career) returns four starters from a 23-5 team.
Raleigh Christian All five starters are back from a 14-8 club that finished fourth in the NCCSA. Olivia Davis (14 ppg.) and Amy Ausley (12 ppg.) were the top scorers.
Wakefield On paper, the well of talent seems a little down, but coach Danielle Blackburn has built an exceptional program. The Wolverines return Kayla Harris (12.0 ppg., 6.0 rpg.) and Brittany Christian (10.5 ppg.) from a 26-3 club.

"Breezy," a 5-11 senior, has signed a national letter of intent to play for N.C. State.
Erin Bratcher Ravenscroft
5-9 senior helped the Ravens to a 28-4 record last season by averaging 12 points, 4 rebounds and 3 steals per game.
Kristen Lyon Durham Jordan
5-11 forward averaged 16 points and 9 rebounds.

6-0 center averaged 15.4 points, 6 rebounds, 3 blocks, 3 assists and 2 steals.
