Quarterback Thaddeus Lewis completed 22 of 35 passes for 212 yards and a touchdown, setting the school's career record for pass completions. He passed Ben Bennett (1980-83) and has 826 career completions to rank third all-time in the ACC.
With his touchdown pass in the first quarter against Georgia Tech, Lewis moved into fifth place in ACC history with 63 career touchdown passes.
Freshman quarterback Sean Renfree was injured during a third-quarter series. Coach David Cutcliffe said he twisted his knee and added the training staff will evaluate the extent of the injury and update his status today.
