Drew Gooden had 11 points and 11 rebounds, Shawn Marion also had 11 points, and Jason Kidd added 10 points and seven assists for the Mavericks.
Rodney Stuckey led the Pistons with 28 points, and Will Bynum had 27, including 17 in the fourth quarter. Ben Gordon, though, went 1-for-16 and missed a 3-pointer that would have tied it with 2 seconds left.

Bucks 129, Warriors 125: Brandon Jennings scored 55 points, breaking Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's franchise rookie record, to lead host Milwaukee to a come-from-behind victory over Golden State.
Abdul-Jabbar had 51 points on Feb. 21, 1970, against Seattle. The NBA rookie record was set by Wilt Chamberlain with 58 points for the Philadelphia Warriors against Detroit in a January 1960 game in Bethlehem, Pa.
Monta Ellis led the Warriors with 26 points.
Trail Blazers 80, Bobcats 74: Brandon Roy scored 25 points, Andre Miller added 15, and visiting Portland improved to 8-3 with its sixth straight victory.
Boris Diaw led Charlotte with 21 points.
Heat 81, Nets 80: Dwyane Wade's 3-pointer with 0.1 seconds left lifted host Miami past undermanned and winless New Jersey.
Wade finished with 22 points, and Udonis Haslem had 28 for Miami.
Lopez and Trenton Hassell each finished with 17 points for New Jersey (0-10).
Cavaliers 107, Jazz 103: LeBron James' three-point play with 28 seconds remaining lifted short-handed host Cleveland to its fourth straight victory.
James was 6-of-15 from the floor but finished with 21 points, six rebounds and nine assists. Shaquille O'Neal missed the game because of a strained shoulder.
Carlos Boozer scored 25 points for Utah.
Pacers 113, Celtics 104: Danny Granger scored 29 points, Dahntay Jones added a season-high 25, and Indiana handed visiting Boston its second straight loss.
Ray Allen had a season-high 24 points for Boston.

Grizzlies 97, Timberwolves 87: Marc Gasol scored 17 points and matched his career high with 16 rebounds, and Rudy Gay and O.J. Mayo had 19 points apiece to help Memphis snap a seven-game losing streak and hand visiting Minnesota its 10th straight loss.
Corey Brewer scored 16 points for Minnesota.
