Duke senior quarterback Thaddeus Lewis landed in some select company on Wednesday.
Lewis, who has passed for 2,640 yards and 16 TDs for the resurgent Blue Devils, was selected as one of five finalists for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award.
The award is presented to college football's top senior quarterback.
Other finalists are Florida's Tim Tebow, Colt McCoy of Texas, Dan LeFevour of Central Michigan and Zac Robinson of Oklahoma State.
The award will be presented Dec. 11 in Baltimore.

ECU's Roggeman nominated for courage award: East Carolina's Thomas "Rock" Roggeman has been nominated for the 2009 FedEx Orange Bowl-FWAA Courage Award, to be announced at the end of the season.
Roggeman, the Pirates' defensive tackles coach, has taken a medical leave of absence while battling non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
