Tim Duncan had 24 points and 12 rebounds, and the San Antonio Spurs halted the visiting Milwaukee Bucks' three-game winning streak with a 112-98 victory Monday night.

Matt Bonner had 23 points off the bench, and the Spurs won consecutive games for only the second time this season. They also finally took advantage of a big night from Duncan, having previously been 0-4 when the All-Star scored 20 or more.

Ersan Illyasova led Milwaukee with 20 points. Brandon Jennings scored 12, held well below his rookie-leading average of 25.3 points per game.

Also Monday

Grizzlies 116, Kings 105: Rudy Gay scored 24 points, O.J. Mayo added 20 and host Memphis beat Sacramento, sending the Kings to their fourth straight loss.

Marc Gasol finished with 18 points and four blocks for Memphis, which won for the fourth time in the past five games. Zach Randolph had 16 and Mike Conley added 11 points and seven assists.

Rookie Tyreke Evans led the Kings with 28 points, connecting on 10-of-18 from the field.

Late Sunday

Suns 117, Pistons 91: Amare Stoudemire scored 21 points, and Steve Nash added 20, then sat out the fourth quarter to watch host Phoenix hand road-weary Detroit its fifth straight loss.

Nash made 7 of 8 shots and had nine assists. Jason Richardson scored 17 as the Suns (11-3), with six players in double figures, improved to 5-0 at home and tied Atlanta and Orlando for the best record in the young NBA season.

Charlie Villanueva and rookie DaJuan Summers each scored 13 for Detroit.

Lakers 101, Thunder 85: Kobe Bryant scored 26 points, including an astonishing basket from behind the backboard, and the host Los Angeles Lakers beat the Oklahoma City franchise for the 11th straight time.

The defending NBA champion Lakers had this one in control throughout with help from Andrew Bynum's 25 points and nine rebounds. Bryant also had seven assists and six rebounds.

Pau Gasol had 15 points, seven rebounds and six assists.

Kevin Durant led the Thunder with 19 points.

Notes

O'Neal returns to practice: Shaquille O'Neal is back at practice and hopes to play in Cleveland's game at Detroit on Wednesday.

O'Neal has missed five games after he tried to block a dunk by Miami's Michael Beasley on Nov. 12. O'Neal, who is calling his injury a strained rotator cuff, practiced Monday.

McGrady ready to play: Tracy McGrady has returned to practice with the Houston Rockets for the first time since microfracture surgery in February, but the seven-time All-Star still doesn't know when he'll play.

McGrady says he can play now, but Rockets coach Rick Adelman has said he's not ready.

Warriors coach ailing: Golden State Warriors coach Don Nelson has pneumonia and isn't traveling with the team for two games in Texas.
