From staff reports

A pregnant Louisburg woman and her two young children were killed in a car crash late Wednesday night in Granville County, according to the State Highway Patrol.

Melissa Jo Bullock, 26, was driving west on Mays Store Road, 9.4 miles of Creedmoor, at 9:40 p.m. when her car went off the road. She over corrected into a ditch and flipped into a tree.

Authorities said Bullock, of 371 Stone Southerland Road, was transported to WakeMed, where she was pronounced dead. Her two children, Georgia Leigh Godfrey, 5, and Wyatt Anthony Godfrey, 4, died at the scene.

Troopers are still investigating the cause of the crash.
