Beer Geek dinners
Chef Charlie Deal is offering a "Beer Geek Winter Cage Match" -- two dinners featuring Jujube's Asian food or Dos Perros' Latin cuisine paired with the same set of beers. Each dinner costs $42 without tax and tip.
The Jujube dinner is 7 p.m. Dec. 8, and the Dos Perros dinner is 7 p.m. Dec. 9.
Here's a sample of the two menus: The first course of the Jujube dinner is shrimp toast and sesame-fried plantains with sweet chili sauce paired with Victory Moonglow Weizenbach. Meanwhile at Dos Perros, the first course with the same beer will be braised pork cracklings and cactus with crispy wheat chips.
