The Blue Devils lead the overall series with their ACC rival 21-13-5, but the Demon Deacons won their most recent match, a 3-0 regular-season victory on Nov. 6. Duke has not defeated Wake Forest since a 2006 meeting in the ACC Tournament.

Wake Forest led the ACC in goals scored (42 through the second round of the NCAA Championship) and is ranked 11th nationally in scoring offense. Defensively, the Deacs rank 14th nationally in goals-against average, letting in just 15 goals this season.

Players to watch

Duke MF/F Ryan Finley: The freshman from Lumberton, N.J., leads the Blue Devils with 25 points (10 goals, five assists).

Wake Forest F Zack Schilawski: The senior from Cary leads Wake with 28 points (11 goals and six assists). Schilawski had an assist in the Deacs' 2-1 win over UNC Wilmington in the second round.
