Thank you to Debra Goldman, Deborah Prickett, John Tedesco and Chris Malone for responding to the cries of parents and taxpayers in Wake County. Each of these new school board members ran on the platform of change and immediately took the necessary steps to begin the process. Their commitment, determination and fortitude are commendable. As promised, parents will now be recognized as an important piece of our school system rather than viewed and treated as a hindrance. It's a new day in Wake County, and it's about time.
