RALEIGH -- Police charged a Raleigh man Monday with robbing a sandwich shop at gunpoint, court records show.
No injuries were reported.
Investigators have charged Khaalif Henry Webb, 22, of 910-104 Sawpit Drive in Raleigh with one felony count each of robbery with a dangerous weapon and second-degree kidnapping, court records show.
Police have accused Webb of using a long black rifle to rob Jimmy John's, 2316 Hillsborough St., of $532 on July 23. Police think Webb used the firearm to threaten the lives of two employees inside the sandwich shop and detain them against their will during the robbery.
Webb remained in custody at the Wake County jail Monday in lieu of $125,000 bail, a jail spokeswoman said.
