WAKE FOREST -- Wake Forest police said Tuesday that they plan to charge a motorist with murder in connection with an auto accident this month that killed a Youngsville man.
Pedro Adalberto Guity will be charged with second-degree murder after police determined that his vehicle was moving in the wrongdirection - south on northbound U.S. 1 - and crashed head on into a vehicle driven by Robert Ernesto Harris of Youngsville on Dec. 13.
Emergency workers pronounced Harris dead at the scene. Guity was taken to WakeMed in Raleigh, where he remained in good condition Tuesday, a hospital spokeswoman said.
