North Carolina coach Roy Williams hasn't been able to wear a tie recently because of the immobilizing sling on his left arm, but that doesn't mean he hasn't found a way to dress up his shirt-and-slacks routine.
The blue and gray design he has been sporting on his sling that last few games was sent to him by Alexander Julian, who also designs his suits.
Coming off the bench Tuesday seemed to light a fire under junior small forward Will Graves, who finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds. But if he can't do that consistently - and if UNC can't get more output from freshmen John Henson and David Wear (who started in place of Graves) - Williams might have to bite the bullet and move senior Marcus Ginyard, who has played four different positions during his career, to small forward. The move makes some sense, because that could shift freshman Dexter Strickland back to his natural position of shooting guard. But the potential risk with that lineup (which is probably why Williams is not using it more) is that Strickland and Ginyard are the back-up point guards. Having those two, as well as starter Larry Drew II, on the floor at once doesn't leave any ballhandling options off the bench.
