HILLSBOROUGH -- An attempted robbery and shooting left one man dead and two people wounded at a club just north of Hillsborough late Saturday, Lt. N. Horton of the Orange County Sheriff's Office said Sunday.
Sheriff's deputies said Sunday they had not identified any suspects.
Deputies answered a call at 11:50 p.m. reporting shots fired at The Platinum Club at 2600 N.C.86. When detectives arrived, they found two men and one woman shot. The three were taken to Duke Hospital, where one man died.
