Wilco, the Grammy-winning roots-rock band from Chicago, is coming back to the Triangle this spring, appearing at the Durham Performing Arts Center on March 27.

It will be Wilco's first show in the Triangle since August 2008, when the band played at Cary's Koka Booth Amphitheatre. Wilco has since received another Grammy nomination for last year's "Wilco (The Album)."

Tickets are $35 and go on sale Friday. For details, check www.dpacnc.com or call 680-2787.

The concert is another coup for the DPAC as it establishes itself among the growing number of area venues. The $44 million, 2,800-seat theater opened in late November 2008 and did nearly $8 million in business in its first seven months.

Other upcoming events include the musicals "Mamma Mia!" and "Hairspray," and concerts by Vince Gill, Steve Winwood and Harry Connick Jr.
