Bobby Davis, 26, from Troop 85 and the Daniel Boone Council in Asheville salutes Gov. Beverly Perdue after her address to the Boy Scouts. The Boy Scouts celebrated their 100th birthday on Monday, February 8, 2010. To celebrate, scouts representing each of the state's 100 counties came to Raleigh to tour the Capitol, Legislative and Supreme Court buildings. They also presented Gov. Beverly Perdue a Report to the State whereby they pledged to perform 100,000 hours of community service this year for the benefit of the state.
