Player to watch: Malcolm Delaney. Not only does the Hokies' junior guard lead the league in scoring, he excels at drawing fouls. Delaney leads the ACC in free-throw attempts with 8.2 a game. He ranks second in the league behind Duke's Jon Scheyer in free-throw percentage (85.5 percent).

Observations: N.C. State continues to suffer through cold streaks in the second half. The Wolfpack has lost its past four ACC games, and it has shot a combined 30.5 percent (39-of-128) in the second halves of those games.

Senior guard Farnold Degand listed as questionable for tonight's game (deep thigh bruise), and freshman Scott Wood may be spending more time at shooting guard, with freshman Josh Davis claiming more minutes at small forward.
