Duke
Who said the ACC doesn't like the Blue Devils? John Swofford and the Greensboro cabal conspired to give the Fighting Krzyzewskis a bye into the finals with Virginia in the quarters and Miami in the semis. Even UNC fans are jealous.

Foul Shots really, really wants to like Hokies coach Seth Greenberg, but a 3-6 record in this tournament - with a pair of wins over Miami - is not getting it done.
Even with Tyler Hansborough safely in the NBA, the Hokies still can't buy a close tournament win. There's no reason to think the NCAA tournament will end any differently next week.
Sammy Zeglinski
The Virginia sophomore's 0-for-9 against Duke was the second-worst shooting performance in ACC tournament history.
Biting the hand
Of all of Larry Drew II's miscues this season, calling Tar Heels fans "spoiled" may be his biggest. No matter how true that may be, for the love of Jason Capel, don't say it out loud.
If anything, that bar has been set high because fans are used to watching players a heck of a lot better than Drew is.
The good news for Drew is that he won't find those kind of expectations at Pepperdine next year.
Georgia Tech
Kudos to Yellow Jackets coach Paul Hewitt for ending a nine-game losing streak to Maryland, but they won Friday despite 26 turnovers and frittering away a 19-point lead.
Free advice for the strategically challenged Hewitt: To break a press, inbound the ball and then pass it right back to the inbounder.
COACHSPEAK-TO-ENGLISH TRANSLATION
"I thought we beat a really good Virginia team."
- Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski after the Blue Devils' 57-46 win over Virginia.
Translation: Compared with the last team we played (North Carolina), Virginia was UNLV circa 1990.
