Susan Womack Plyler, of Myrtle Beach, SC, died March 13, 2010 at Waccamaw Community Hospital following a long illness.

Mrs. Plyler was born May 4, 1948 in Sanford, NC. She graduated from Sanford Central High School and attended Meredith College in Raleigh, NC.

She is survived by her parents, Henry and Josephine Womack of Sanford, NC; her husband of 39 years, Justin (Buz) Avery Plyler; two sons, Justin (Sims) Simmons Plyler, his wife, Tara, and their daughter, Hannah Caroline of Frederick, MD, and Henry Jason Plyler of New York, NY. Mrs. Plyler is also survived by a brother, Stephen Womack and his family of Sanford, NC.

Funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church, Myrtle Beach, SC with Rev. Bruce Crawford officiating on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 2:00 p.m.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 15, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at McMillan-Small Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held at Buffalo Cemetery in Sanford, NC on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 2:00 p.m.
