Fitzgerald, Ga., used to have an annual Eastern diamondback rattlesnake roundup, but this year the town instead will hold the Wild Chicken Festival www.wildchickenfestival.com to celebrate its wild Burmese chicken population. The birds were stocked in the state in the 1960s and thrived around Fitzgerald. The fun takes place Saturday.
