Traffic detoured in Chapel Hill

CHAPEL HILL -- Traffic is being detoured on Franklin Street between the 800 and 1000 blocks this morning as Duke Power crews repair a utility pole, the town reports.

Delays are expected this morning in this area.

A vehicle struck the pole on Franklin Street near Estes Drive at about 9:49 p.m. Wednesday, according to a news release from Chapel Hill.

There are no reported injuries to the driver who struck the utility pole, the town reported.
