It was sad to see in the March 17 paper pictures of people holding up signs that said, "Keep Your Hands away from MY Health Care." The key word is "my." What this health care reform is about are the millions of people who cannot afford or for any of many reasons don't have access to health care.
I hope these people can say, "I had health care, but no I didn't help my brother or sister get theirs" the day they die. How sad we can help people a thousand miles away but can't help people in our own neighborhood. For once in our lives, why not think about the ones who need our help?
