The News & Observer's frequent reference to Congressman Bob Etheridge as a moderate Democrat just ain't so. Etheridge, who votes 98 percent of the time along party lines, is cut out of the same bolt of cloth as Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and David Price. Saying Bob Etheridge is a moderate Democrat is like saying President Obama is a conservative. It just ain't so.
