A woman has been charged with felony hit and run and driving while impaired after police say she struck one vehicle, drove away from the scene and promptly got into another accident Saturday night in Cary.
Golden Angela Garrette, 32, was involved in the first accident about 9:15 p.m. on Walnut Street, according to arrest warrants.
She was arrested a short time later after another accident in the same area.
The arresting officer reported that Garrette had a strong odor of alcohol and slurred speech, and was disoriented.
Arrest reports list Garrette as living in both Apex and Raleigh.
Garrette is scheduled to appear today in Wake County District Court.
