Charlie Rose to speak at NCSU's commencement

— Television host and journalist Charlie Rose will speak at N.C. State University's spring commencement, the university announced today.

Rose, a native of Henderson, hosts the "Charlie Rose" show, a nightly, one-hour interview program that airs on PBS. He is also a correspondent on the CBS news program "60 Minutes."

The commencement will take place Saturday, May 15, at the RBC Center in Raleigh. Rose, a graduate of Duke University, will receive an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree.
