Chick-fil-A Bowl president and CEO Gary Stokan, a former N.C. State basketball player, said one thing N.C. State will want to consider as it searches for Lee Fowler's successor is whether to move men's basketball games back to Reynolds Coliseum.

He praised Fowler's building of the school's facilities and hiring coaches Sidney Lowe in basketball and Tom O'Brien in football.

Stokan said he's willing to talk to N.C. State's administrators and help them in any way possible. And he suggested the school raise the roof of its old basketball facility on campus at Reynolds Coliseum to put in suites and more seats so it can move games back there.

State has played at the RBC Center since the 1999-2000 season, but Stokan said the larger building reduces the Pack's homecourt advantage.

"Obviously, we've gained something with RBC because financially it's probably a really good situation," Stokan said. "I don't know all the information on it. But I think we've lost something with the history and tradition at N.C. State.

"And I think Duke has capitalized on that [at Cameron Indoor Stadium] and maybe we've lost some of that by going to RBC."
