The buyer who purchased Raleigh diner Joe's Place this month plans to open Cherry Bomb, a restaurant and bar with a "Hot Rod/Rockabilly theme."

Cherry Bomb will offer "live music, pinup-model costumed servers and more than 50 craft beers on tap," according to a release from Kimball & Co., the broker who handled the sale of the property.

It will be open seven days a week for lunch and dinner and during late night. The site is at Dawson and Martin streets. The opening date is unknown.
