Crystal Gail Mangum, the one-time escort service dancer who falsely accused three former Duke lacrosse players of gang-raping her, was released from jail Monday on unrelated charges.

Mangum, 31, was arrested in February after police said she set fire in an apartment at 2200 Lincoln St. and tried to kill her boyfriend while her three young children were in the home.

According to Durham County Jail officials, Mangum was released on $100,000 bond.

At the time of her arrest, Mangum faced charges of attempted first-degree murder, five counts of first-degree arson, three counts of misdemeanor child abuse, resisting arrest, identity theft, communicating threats, assault and battery, and injury to personal property.

A Durham County grand jury later returned true bills on first-degree arson, three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, injury to personal property and resisting a public officer.

Mangum never faced any charges for falsely accusing the three former Duke lacrosse players.
