What better way to spend part of your Friday morning than to have FREE Krispy Kreme coffee and doughnuts? Come to The News & Observer's front lawn (in downtown Raleigh at 215 S. McDowell St.) Friday, June 4, between 8 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. to grab some grub, get a free copy of the paper and chat for a few. As Friday is National Doughnut Day, we'll provide the doughnuts and coffee, so bring your co-workers along! Members of The N&O staff will be on hand to meet you. The first 200 people are guaranteed a doughnut and coffee. We'll be here rain or shine and will move inside if it does rain.
